on what you learned from the experience.

When Walt Disney first described his Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow (EPCOT), he said, “Everything in EPCOT will be dedicated to the happiness of the people who will live, work, and play here… and to those who come here from all around the world to visit our living showcase.” He then proceeded to build his ideal community. Describe in detail your ideal community. Explain your choices in the creation process.

OPTIONAL submission: If you wish, you may also submit a video or other electronic portfolio that serves as an introduction to what makes you special—your talents, passions, and/or achievements. We encourage you to think outside the box as you make your portfolio. We are looking for evidence of curiosity, creativity, commitment, resilience. We would be glad to see your talent, read your writing, watch your robots, envision your business plan, accompany you in your service, or whatever else you would like to share. Please limit videos to 5 minutes. Note that this option does not replace the essay requirement above.
If you choose not to submit a video, that will not affect your online application.
