A key component of the Jesuit mission acknowledges the importance of a servant as leader. A true servant leader values diverse opinions; thinks of others first; acts with humility; and looks to heal divisions while building community. Dr. Martin Luther King's life exemplifies the power of service and through that work, his legacy continues to build leaders today.

In a 1-2 page essay (typed, double spaced) please answer the following questions:

    1. How do you define servant leadership and how do you demonstrate that in your life currently?

    2. How will you look to continue your service throughout your undergraduate career?

    3. What will you look do in the future, within your career and beyond, to continue being of service to others?
