Accepted Student Days- School of Education and Human Services

    Congratulations on your acceptance to Canisius College!

    We cordially invite you and your family to attend our Accepted Students Day program for students interested in majors within the School of Education and Human Services!

    Sunday, April 18th, 1:30pm

    This session is for students who plan to major in:

    • Adolescence Education
    • Childhood Education/Special Education
    • Childhood Education/TESOL 
    • Physical Education  
    • Sports Management
    • Sport Pedagogy
    • Sports Exercise Health Care
    • Health and Wellness

    We encourage you to attend a session that includes the major of study you are interested in. If you do not see your major listed here, go back to the visit page to find the session that includes your major. If you are undecided but interested in an area listed above, we encourage you to attend a School of Education and Human Services session. If you are generally undecided we encourage you to attend the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences- Humanities and Social Sciences session.

    You will have the opportunity to meet with faculty, current students, student services staff, and more to learn more about all that Canisius has to offer. We hope this program will help make your college decision easier! This day will include:

    • Welcome Remarks from the President of Canisius College 
    • Current Student Panel 
    • Academic Major Presentations
    • Student Services and Clubs Fair
    • Campus Tour
    • Griff Center for Student Success Overview 
    • Optional Pre-Med or Pre-Law Overview
